Our Story
David and Kellie Simmonds, the owners of Westbred Pacing, belong to a family steeped in harness racing in Western Australia, dating back to the early 1980s.

Their father, David Snr, has been a hobby trainer with considerable success, mainly on country tracks in WA.

David Jnr, who followed his father’s footsteps into the sport, has been a successful hobby breeder and owner in his own right. He has bred and raced winners at Gloucester Park and Albion Park. A keen student of bloodlines, David currently owns four broodmares.

Captain Ahab, one of the best two-year-olds of his year in North America, is Westbred Pacing’s first foray in the stud business.
